Multi-currency bandwidth budgets
Our bandwidth budgets mix euros and pounds across the group. Today I normalize by hand and it is error-prone. Let me set a currency per entity and have the priority view roll up in a chosen reporting currency.
Audit log for goal and ownership changes
In a regulated construction context I have to answer who changed a target and when. An immutable audit trail on goal edits, owner changes, and status overrides would turn an awkward compliance conversation into a five minute export.
Shareable framework templates between orgs
When we onboarded I rebuilt a Balanced Scorecard from scratch. A library of starter templates, OKR, OGSM, V/TO, Scorecard, that I can clone and adapt would have saved a week. Bonus if our own well-run trees can be saved as a template for new business units.
Time-zone aware operating cadence reminders
We run weekly check-ins across three continents. The reminder for our Singapore team currently fires at 2am their time. Let reminders respect each person's working hours instead of one global send time.
History graph for a goal's confidence over time
Because status is derived rather than self-reported, the trend line is actually trustworthy. Let me see it. A sparkline of a goal's health across the quarter would tell me whether we are recovering or sliding, which a single red dot never does.
Send goal alerts to a Slack channel
Would love for at-risk goals to post into our #strategy Slack channel so the whole leadership team sees them, not only the single owner. Right now only the owner gets pinged and things still slip quietly.
Looker / Tableau data connection
Same ask as the BI folks but for the Looker and Tableau crowd. Give us a clean semantic layer or at least a documented dataset so analysts can build their own views on top of Vindaris data.
Microsoft Teams notifications, not just Slack
We are a Teams shop. The at-risk alerts and review reminders are great in concept but useless to us until they land in a Teams channel. Please treat Teams as a first-class notification target alongside Slack.
Power BI connector for goal and KPI data
Our board reporting standardizes on Power BI. A native connector that exposes goals, KPIs, and their work-derived actuals would let me drop the manual export step entirely.
Public API and webhooks for goal updates
We have a data warehouse and an internal exec dashboard. I want to subscribe to goal and KPI changes via webhook and pull history through an API, so Vindaris is a source of truth other systems can read, not a walled garden I screenshot into board decks.
Catchball workflow for cascading goals
When we cascade a goal down, it is supposed to be a negotiation, not a decree. I want a built-in catchball step: a proposed child goal goes to the team, they push back or accept, and the agreed version locks with a record of who agreed. Cascading goals without catchball is just top-down theater.
SSO with Okta and Entra (SAML + SCIM)
Our security team will not approve another tool with separate passwords. We need SAML sign-in and SCIM provisioning so joiners and leavers are handled automatically. This is currently the one thing blocking a wider rollout past the leadership team.
Cross-team dependency graph for initiatives
Our PMO lives and dies by dependencies. I need a view that shows, across teams, which initiative is waiting on which, and flags the chain when an upstream one slips. Today this is a whiteboard photo that is wrong by Monday.
Read-only mobile check-ins first (split from native app)
Splitting the smaller win out of the native app request: a read-only mobile view of my goals and this week's check-ins. Owners on the floor can at least see status before we tackle full editing.
Salesforce connector, same depth as the HubSpot one
Not everyone is on HubSpot. We are a Salesforce shop and the same KPI-from-CRM story applies: pipeline, closed-won, renewal rate. Please do not make the CRM integration HubSpot-only.
Make the Do-Not list a first-class board
We decide what not to do every planning cycle and then forget by week three, so the same zombie initiatives crawl back in. I want an explicit Do-Not board with owners and a date, visible next to the roadmap, that someone has to consciously override to revive a killed initiative.
Native mobile app for owners on the move
Half my goal owners are on factory floors or in the field. They will never open a laptop to update a Rock. A real mobile app, not a squeezed web page, would get me current data instead of me chasing people in the hallway before the L10.
Drill from a red goal straight to the work that stalled it
When a goal is at risk I want one click to the specific work items dragging it, sorted by how much they should be moving the metric. A heatmap that is only a thermometer tells me the patient has a fever. Show me which work is the infection.
Mix frameworks in one tree: EOS Rocks above team OKRs
Leadership runs EOS. The product and growth teams run OKRs underneath. Today I fake the parent-child link with naming conventions. I want the parent to genuinely be a Rock and the children genuinely Key Results, in the same hierarchy, with traceable work hanging off the bottom. The framework should be a label on a node, not a wall between trees.
Roll HubSpot deal value up into revenue KPIs
Our North Star is net new ARR. That number lives in HubSpot. I should be able to point a KPI goal at a HubSpot deal stage and have the actual update itself, the same way work-derived status already does. Then I stop maintaining a parallel spreadsheet that is always a week stale.
Slack alert the moment a goal goes at-risk
The value of deriving status from the work is that it changes on its own. The problem is nobody is staring at the app when it does. Push a Slack message to the goal owner the instant effort-to-outcome breaks, not in a weekly digest. Catching drift on a Tuesday instead of at the QBR is the whole point.
Two-way Jira sync for work items
We run delivery in Jira but our quarterly Rocks live in Vindaris. Right now I copy status by hand every Friday before the review. If a work item linked to a Rock moves to Done in Jira, Vindaris should reflect it without me touching anything. Bidirectional, so reassigning an owner in Vindaris pushes back too.
Bandwidth budget view per strategic priority
We committed to five priorities this year and somehow staffed eleven. I want a single screen that shows allocated capacity against each priority and goes red when the sum is over 100 percent. Make over-commitment impossible to hide in a planning meeting.
Built-in team chat inside Vindaris
Could we get a chat feature so discussion about a goal happens in-app instead of jumping to Slack or Teams?
